The world's first operational high-power laser interception system is coming to Herning.
Rafael's high-power laser family is operational. Iron Beam was declared operational by Israel's Ministry of Defense and delivered to the IDF, where it now sits inside a multilayered air defense array, and the family reached operational status against hostile drones before that.
That's one layer of what we're bringing to DALO Industry Days, August 19-20.
The rest answers the same question from different directions: how a force protects itself, sees first, and strikes at range. Counter-UAS that scales from airfield and infrastructure protection down to Lite Beam, compact enough to integrate onto a light 4x4 and move with the maneuvering unit. 17.8.2026 Training for Combat Crews of Air Defense Artillery-Missile Systems

Personnel from a battalion of the 250th Air Defense Missile Brigade, equipped with the “Pantsir-S1” hybrid artillery-missile system, are undergoing intensive training to carry out assigned tasks within Serbian Armed Forces operations.

The training is conducted continuously to perfect the skills required for the effective and timely ex*****on of tactical actions—specifically, combat operations by the crews and the efficient engagement of aerial and ground targets.

The training encompasses exercises involving the gun emplacement while on the move, transitioning the system to combat readiness and executing combat operations, as well as replenishing the combat load with missiles and artillery ammunition.

According to the battalion commander, Lieutenant Colonel Predrag Mišić, unit members are practicing rapid and safe preparation for relocation—specifically, transitioning from marching to combat formation and urgently occupying firing positions—as well as surveillance, target detection, and engaging aerial targets.

13.8.2026 Engineering Training for Serbian Armed Forces and Ohio National Guard Personnel

Joint training for personnel from the engineering units of the Serbian Armed Forces and the Ohio National Guard is currently underway at the “Ratko Pavlović Ćićko” barracks in Prokuplje.

The training focuses on handling engineering machinery donated by the U.S. side to the Serbian Armed Forces over the past few years. It involves a wide range of equipment—such as graders, dozers, loaders, dump trucks, and rollers—used by the engineering units of both countries.

The five-day activities include lectures, the exchange of experience, and practical work on the maintenance and operation of this equipment. The focus is on enhancing proficiency in carrying out engineering tasks, such as overcoming and clearing terrain obstacles, constructing cover and shelters, and reconstructing and maintaining roads.

For two decades, the Serbian Armed Forces and the Ohio National Guard have maintained successful cooperation within the framework of the Serbia-Ohio State Partnership Program. Joint training is just one of numerous areas of cooperation that enhance the capabilities of the armed forces and contribute to the development of overall relations between the Republic of Serbia and the United States of America.
