Are you wanting to try something new in 2026?

If you enjoy cosplay, meeting like-minded people, and having fun promoting upcoming films at local cinemas — while also helping raise money for the cinemas’ nominated charity — this might be for you.

Reel Heroes is looking to welcome new members to our cosplay team across the North East!

We attend cinema events in costume, create a great atmosphere for families and fans, and support good causes along the way.
There’s no pressure or obligation — everything we do is completely voluntary, and you attend events when you’re able.

Some of the films we’re planning to attend in 2026 include:
• The Mandalorian & Grogu
• Masters of the Universe
• Supergirl
• Spider-Man: Brand New Day
• Clayface
• Avengers: Doomsday
And possibly many others. As you can see, we try and cover as many fandoms as we can!

Whether you’re an experienced cosplayer or just looking to try something new, we’d love to hear from you.

🎄🎆 As the year comes to a close, we want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

We’re already excited to come back bigger, better, and with even more magic in 2026 ✨

Since July, Reel Heroes have been incredibly proud to help promote amazing cinema releases while also raising money for a range of brilliant charities along the way.

From superheroes to sing-along events, from Gotham to Pandora, and from Halloween to Christmas — here’s just some of the movie magic we’ve been part of this year:

🚂🔔 THAT’S A WRAP ON THE POLAR EXPRESS 🔔🚂

Our journey on The Polar Express has come to an end for 2025, and what a magical ride it’s been. From ringing bells to sharing smiles, we’ve loved every moment of bringing this Christmas classic to life. 🎄✨

A huge thank you to everyone who came along for the ride, stopped to say hello, took photos, and shared in the festive magic with us. Seeing so many smiling faces reminded us that the bell truly does ring for those who believe 🔔❤️

🎬✨ WHAT. A. DAY. ✨🎬

Today the Reel Heroes team were out bringing movie magic to life — and what a journey it was!

🚂 The Polar Express arrived at where the Conductor and some of Santa’s brilliant Polar Express elves helped spread Christmas cheer at the North Pole, ringing bells, meeting families, and creating truly magical festive moments. 🔔🎄

Then, in true Reel Heroes fashion, the magic travelled from the North Pole straight to Pandora as Kiri and our RDA agents touched down at .

There have been epic photo ops, amazing reactions, and fully immersive vibes all day!

A huge thank you to , the fantastic teams at both venues, and everyone who stopped for a photo, a smile, or a chat — this is exactly why we do what we do. ❤️

Reel Heroes are heading to Cineworld Newcastle to celebrate the release of Avatar: Fire and Ash — and we’re bringing Pandora with us.

On 20th December 2025, step into the world of the Na’vi as Kiri arrives on Earth… but she’s not alone. A squad of RDA agents will also be in the building from 12pm onwards 👀🔥

Whether you walk with the People or march with the RDA, this is your chance to experience the world of Avatar up close:

One of our team members had the huge privilege of attending the Avatar Fire & Ash premiere in London last night and got to meet some of the stars of the movie.

From the look of her photos she had a great time. Brogan will also be appearing at some local cinemas in her amazing Avatar cosplay soon, so keep an eye out for details.

Wicked: For Good finally lands in cinemas – and we’re celebrating in true Oz style! 💚✨

🧚‍♀️ Reel Heroes will be at from 6pm onwards, joined by none other than Glinda herself!
