This week CinemaAttic presents the UK Premiere of La Hiedra (The Ivy) by Ana Cristina Barragán as part of Latin Connections, screening in Edinburgh and Glasgow.

The first Ecuadorian film selected for the Orizzonti competition at the Venice Film Festival, it explores the relationship between a mother and her son in a delicate tension between innocence and obsession.
