With Spider-Man: Brand New Day currently breaking all sorts of box office records, it's nice to remember that it was partly shot on the streets of Glasgow, giving it that Scotland connection.

We're sorry you can't see it on Screen Machine. If we were touring then it would definitely be part of the programme. If you've already seen it, what did you think?

With a new cinema comes a fresh and distinctive look.

Through the hard work and collaboration with the consultants at Fine Mess, we have revamped the Screen Machine brand across all our marketing and communications, including our website, as well as Screen Machine's livery. While we retain our familiar dark blue, our brand now has different elements and colours that can be broken down and used in a variety of ways.

The new brand is a responsive system that conveys our unique service, the joy it brings, and houses multiple variations for use across every channel. The hero version features a crest of line graphics depicting Screen Machine, waves, mountain and sun, which combine to create a projector beam. A bold, cinematic font and the strapline ‘Moving Pictures’, with its play on words and uniquely Scottish connotation, complete the modernised identity.
