🚨WE ARE HIRING! BFF26 BOX OFFICE MANAGER

We are looking for a freelance Box Office Manager to be part of our delivery team for the 26th Belfast Film Festival.

Contract Duration: 45 days (based on a 7-hour day + including evening work during festival period)
Start Date: Monday 14th September 2026

The Box Office Manager will be responsible for the planning and delivery of all aspects of the festival box office, ticketing system and front of house activities. This involves working with the wider BFF programming, marketing and events team. Liaising with festival venues to ensure excellent communications and processes in relation to box office matters, as well as the setting up of all events on the festival ticketing system in readiness for the festival programme launch and managing the BFF26 Box Office Front Of House team.

To celebrate the in Belfast this week Belfast Film Festival Northern Ireland Screen Digital Film Archive present - The Fleadh in the Film Archives.

Northern Ireland Screen’s Digital Film Archive contains films of Northern Ireland and Ulster going back 120 years.

Within the collection is a host of films featuring traditional music, hootenannys and sessions gathered here in a swirl of fiddles, bodhrans, dancing and legendary musicians of the Trad scene including All Ireland Champion John Doherty, The Chieftains and The Clancys.

Take the weight off your feet and pop into the Beanbag Cinema (access through Belfast Exposed Gallery on Donegal Street) over the next few days or view the Fleadh collection and more for free through Northern Ireland Screen’s Digital Film Archive. See link in bio.

There's still time to submit to this year's Belfast Film Festival! But hurry the final deadline is looming. Submissions close on FRIDAY 14 AUGUST.

The 26th Belfast Film Festival will take place from 29th October to 7th November 2026. We are looking for submissions from the island of Ireland for our shorts programme and our NI Independents feature film strand.
