This year’s LUMI Award at Docs Ireland was won by Niamh Barry’s Something In The Air 🏆

The LUMI Award is given to the short film that our jury of LUMI Programmers deem to be the most relevant to young people or innovative in how it has been made.

Something In The Air was chosen from the competition shorts as our jury felt that the timely, interwoven messages about Raychel’s lived experience as transgender storm chaser and the changing climate spoke beautifully and effectively to young audiences.

Thank you to our brilliant LUMI Programmer jury, the brilliant Docs Ireland team and all the amazing filmmakers who took part ⚡️
