After the ravages of the pandemic and with travel authorisation, we started filming No One Is Illegal Every Day Tomorrow.

At that time we felt there was tension in the air. There was an atmosphere of racism but it was semi-hidden.

Sadly, after the hate attacks in Northern Ireland and the UK, we realise that hate is rust in a divided society.

No to paramilitaries, no to xenophobia. And it is appalling that the far right and shadowy characters spread hate on social media and ignite discord amongst the population.

Belfast was important for our documentary, and we are confident that the people of Belfast will stop the hatred.

There are fewer racists and extreme and far-right groups, even if they shout on social media.

In the UK and Northern Ireland hate attacks are by a minority, a terrible minority that evokes hatred. But there are more of us who believe that these fascist minorities "No pasarán".
