Welcome to cinéjam, a free event open to all, combining musical improvisation and film screenings.

This month, we will be screening Happiness, a satirical comedy with surreal undertones directed by Soviet filmmaker Aleksandr Medvedkin in 1935, which tells the story of a peasant’s misadventures during the Tsarist era.

The film will be screened with live electronic music improvisation by the musicians of the Silicon Beats collective... and maybe you?

Welcome to Cinéjam, a free and open to all event, combining musical improvisation and film screenings.
This month, animation movie will be in the spotlight with a screening of The Adventure of Prince Achmed a feature film directed by animator Lotte Reiniger in 1926 using the paper cutout technique and loosely based on the tales of One Thousand ans One Nights. we'll diving into Science Fiction with a screening of Cosmic Voyage (Vasili Zhuravlyov, 1936), a silent movie depicting the first trip to the moon by a team of Soviet Cosmonauts.
The film will be screened with live electronic music improvisation, inspired by the theme of One Thousand and One Nights, by musicians of the collective... And maybe you?
