We enjoyed another great day of trophy tuna fishing before getting underway. Johney landed the standout fish of the day, a beautiful yellowfin weighing in at around 130 pounds. We will spend the rest of today and part of tomorrow traveling as we shift our focus to searching for yellowtail.

It has been a fun trip so far for our Tahoe Tuna Club anglers. We've been having a blast pulling on some solid yellowfin tuna, even if we had to pay our fair share of the catch to the tax man.We will give the tuna another try tomorrow before switching gears into yellowtail mode.

We departed yesterday afternoon on our 8-day Tahoe Tuna Club trip with Tom and Donn Pierson.We kicked things off this morning with Capt. Brian's tackle seminar, getting everyone dialed in and rigged up. We've got our sights set on yellowfin tuna and wahoo for the first leg, with yellowtail waiting for us on the back end. Traveling in gorgeous weather, we'll have lines in the water tomorrow afternoon!

We finished off our Direct AV 7-day run working the coastline and pulling on calico bass, yellowtail, and plenty of other fun inshore species! To cap off an incredible trip in style, Chef Chuck and Rolo treated everyone to an absolute knockout sushi spread. Nothing beats fresh fish on the ride home!

We've had some solid action over the last couple of days with decent yellowfin tuna fishing alongside a nice mix of dorado and wahoo! To top it all off, we even paused for a few minutes today to watch some incredible orcas cruising right through the area.

We departed yesterday morning on our annual Direct AV 7-day trip. We've been traveling south while getting everyone on board fully rigged and ready to target yellowtail, yellowfin, dorado, and wahoo. We will be working our way down the line, making sure we don't pass up any signs of life, and should be fishing soon.
