I like the old school robots, not the "transformer on steroids" kind and I thought it would be fun to do a robot shop facade. The name of the shop came from the movie "Batteries Not Included" - Wheems was the last robot to be born and my favorite. The challenge I set was to make the entire piece using things I already had. The concept is the robots have been used and in some cases put together again so I didn't try to make them perfect.
