amazing!! brings me back to a conversation i've had a few times. it seems as though kids have the ability to do just about anything. how do you know when to cut them loose? how do you know if you're encouraging them or bullying them? if you're supporting their dream or trying to force your own onto them? and in the end, does any of it really matter? if only there was a manual!!

this is a good clip from a movie about a circus elephant who was not well taken care of during her time in the circus. she was eventually freed and taken to a sanctuary where she met up with an old friend. worth a watch.

Got our first day on the mountain yesterday. An early season warm up at Mountain High in Wrightwood, CA. The conditions were average at best, but it felt good to get out and stretch the legs. Can't wait for the POW to start piling up!!
