Join the Museum of Stop Motion Animation (MOSMA) in celebrating the 45th Anniversary of CLASH OF THE TITANS in 35mm!

This was the final feature film that stop-motion animation and special effects legend Ray Harryhausen completed after decades of innovative filmmaking. Gods and mortals intertwine as mythological creatures come to life in this classic, epic fantasy. Put on your togas and prepare for adventure!

Local Director of Photography Frank Passingham and MOSMA founder Brian Capati will host a Q&A after the film.

BREAKING AWAY garnered 5 Oscar nominations for 1979 and won for best screenplay (which was inspired by actual events in Bloomington in 1962).

Dave, Mike, Cyril, and Moocher are recent class high school graduates in Bloomington, Indiana. Each is struggling with their own nagging fears of inadequacy and search for purpose as college-aged men in a college town but not attending college.

After an on-campus row with some university students, the four townies (known as "cutters") are allowed to participate in the university's Little 500 Bicycle Race. It is their chance to prove to everyone (mostly themselves) that they are winners. Dennis Christopher, Dennis Quaid, Daniel Stern, and Jackie Earl Haley play the four cutters. Other notable cast members include Dave's parents played by the wonderful Paul Dooley and Barbara Barrie as well as an appearance by PJ Soles.
