When I (Lauren) went to CinemaCon in Las Vegas in April, we got to see a preview of Moana (presented by our Lehigh Valley hometown hero, The Rock)! Later on, there was an award show and the titular star, Catherine Laga'aia, received a Rising Star award for her work in the movie. It was her first movie, first award, first press tour. I was sitting a couple seats away from her and her family and I saw how excited and proud they all were. That stuck with me, and I think about it every time I see the trailer. I am emotionally invested in this movie now, and I hope you will be too!

Weather Update, July 16: This is our final night for Minions & Monsters followed by 1999's The Mummy, and we've been getting calls from folks excited to catch the show tonight. Air quality conditions have been fluctuating all day. We plan to show the movies, but we will be running at a reduced operating capacity for the welfare of our crew. Only one of our two snack bar order windows will be open, and some hot food items (such as burgers and fries) may be unavailable.

Online ticket-holders: If you are unable to attend tonight's showing due to the air quality conditions, please contact us before showtime for a reschedule or refund, and we will happily accommodate you.

We may make adjustments to our operating plan, so keep an eye on our social media for continued updates.

This evening, we hosted a theater tour and Q&A with Fade In/Fade Out (FIFO), a filmmaking consortium based right here in the Lehigh Valley! It was such a unique opportunity to get in front of local filmmakers to shine a light on the exhibition side of the movie industry, and to talk about what goes into showcasing indie cinema on the big screen! FIFO has over 300 members, covering all major disciplines in filmmaking, and has assisted in the production of over 20 films.

Strange things have been happening around the theater, from crackling phone calls that seem to come from another time to a ghostly visage appearing for only a second before vanishing. While we can't be sure this place is haunted, it certainly is old, and with all this history, maybe something lingers.

Perhaps we'll find out on Tuesday, August 18, during a very special Retro Tuesday event! We have invited our friends at Ghost Encounters, a Lehigh Valley based paranormal investigation team and web series, to premiere one of their episodes on our giant drive-in screen! We will be showcasing the infamous HANOVERVILLE ROADHOUSE episode. After a meet and greet with the Ghost Encounters team, we will follow up with a feature presentation of POLTERGEIST.

Tonight, we interrupt our regularly scheduled programming to bring you a special Retro Tuesday screening of BEAVIS AND BUTT-HEAD DO AMERICA! Come celebrate America's 250th with the boys. Showtime is around 9:00pm. Gates open at 7:00pm.

Join us for some star-spangled shenanigans under the stars with BEAVIS AND BUTT-HEAD DO AMERICA! This presentation is part of our Retro Tuesday series.

This Sunday, July 12, join us at the drive-in for a summer edition of our Farm & Food Market with our friends from Crooked Row Farm! We will have over 30 local vendors, featuring food trucks, baked goods, packaged foods, nonprofit services, and fresh produce. Stop by this free daytime event from 9AM to 2PM to grab some lunch and stock up on tasty treats. We'll also have live music by Scooter Hanes!

The Farm and Food Festival: Summer Market kicks off at 9am today here at the theater. We have approximately 30 vendors including food trucks, baked goods, packaged foods, nonprofit services, fresh produce, and of course our festival co-presenters and neighbors at Crooked Row Farm!

Tonight, our Open Caption Nights continue thanks to our friends at Service Electric! Minions & Monsters AND The Mummy will both be presented with complete on-screen captions!

The Farm and Food Festival will run until 2pm. Our gates will reopen at 7pm for the movies.
