From the filmmakers of Puss in Boots: The Last Wish comes the story of lifelong best friends, Jo and Raissa, who stumble upon a mysterious portal that transports them to a fantastical island packed with the mythological creatures that they had grown up hearing stories about from their Filipino families.

But when Jo and Raissa discover that their memories of their entire friendship are the price for returning home, they will race to find a way to leave the island before they forget each other forever.

With more than 30 years of experience building grassroots coalitions, strengthening community-based organizations, and advancing immigrant and refugee rights, Amihan brings deep roots in Massachusetts’ AAPI communities and a longstanding commitment to community-centered leadership.

Amihan is a founder of Massachusetts Asian and Pacific Islanders (MAP) for Health and the AAPI Alliance of Western Massachusetts and has held leadership roles across the nonprofit, philanthropic, and community sectors. Throughout her career, she has worked to build stronger organizations, develop community leadership, and advance inclusion across the Commonwealth.

We’re excited to welcome Amihan to AAPIC and look forward to the experience, relationships, and leadership she brings to the Commission.

Just 3 more days until Fan Expo Boston. Come see us at the BAAFF booth in CZ1339 adjacent to the main stage. Walk the BAAFF red carpet and come say hi. Talk AAPI representation and upcoming BAAFF events and and see trailers from past seasons. This year we will also be hosting two panels. On Friday the 7th at 8:15om catch the animated shorts block with BAAFF official selection Re:connected and the Oscar nominated Snow Bear. And on Saturday The 8th at 10:15am we will be hosting a panel celebrating AAPI representation in media starting with.
