8.30 am –11.15 am entries accepted and exhibits displayed. 11.30 am Judging commences.
2.30 pm Public Viewing. Produce Stall opens. Raffle. Refreshments.
4.00 pm Presentation of Trophies and Prizes.

All is ready for this years summer safari. Are you ready? See you from 10am. This years theme: Australia. Bring a hat.

Saturday 25th July - Ibstock Summer Safari - Free community event for all ages.
Follow the trail map around the village and spot the animals on the way.
This year’s theme is Australia.
Prizes for 'most correct answers' (several age categories), 'best dressed explorers' and 'best animal creation'.
If you would like to participate in this fun community event, either to create/design and display one of the listed endangered animals of Australia or to join the trail around the village, please get in touch on 01530 262400.

Tomorrow is set to be a fantastic day, and we’re excited to once again be part of the community spirit by taking part in The Palace’s annual Ibstock Summer Safari!☀️

This year’s theme is Australia, and our chosen safari animal is… a tarantula! 🇦🇺🕸️ Can you find it? 🔍

Collect your trail map and questionnaire from The Palace Base Camp on the High Street before setting off on your Australian-themed adventure around Ibstock. 🗺️🌿✨🔍

The Palace Community Centre, High Street, Ibstock are seeking to employ a part-time cleaner on a temp to permanent basis, initially for 3 months, but this may become a permanent role.
• Approximately 5-6 hours per week, usually morning based before the Community Centre opens to the public at 9.30am, but times are flexible.
• May include some weekend work.
• To include cleaning of all internal areas of the Palace building – main hall, kitchen, toilets, bar, balcony area and office.
• You will be responsible for unlocking and locking up the building as you will carry out your work when the building is not in use.
• Rate of pay - £12.75 per hour.
What we are looking for:
• You will be open, honest, self-driven and reliable.

We loved our visit to The Palace Community Centre Ltd tonight! Here's Jacky Wood playing guitar and giving "Sesame Street stoop" vibes! 🐸💚

We had some extremely fun scenes and games inspired by fantastic suggestions from our audience, including a choral piece advising you not to trade cheese with Taylor Swift, a scene from two plays with a talking turd blocking the toilet, a debate on the merits of tennis balls and human go**ds, a film about a homunculus finding love at prom, and lots of games featuring Gaston: the French Casanova with a supernumerary ni**le!
