Yes, it’s currently roasting outside… but behind the scenes, Christmas has officially begun at Boddle 😂🎄

Our advent calendars were so popular last year, so this year we’re opening up more slots, streamlining everything even further and making the whole experience better than ever.

It’ll be a wee bit different from last year — and now that we’re assessed to make every part in-house, it can be a fully Boddle-made Christmas from start to finish 🥹✨

A very accurate snapshot of a normal day in the Boddle workshop… 😆

A bit of making, a bit of painting, far too much random dancing and—against all odds—some finished bath bombs by the end of it 😂

Turns out running a bath bomb business is roughly 50% actual work and 50% wandering around singing to yourself while waiting on things to dry.

Please tell me I’m not the only one who needs a wee kitchen disco to get through the working day 🙈💃🏻

This is exactly why we spent months designing our brand new Push & Play Submarine.

Not to sit on a shelf looking pretty... but to be played with, refilled, pushed around the bath and remembered long after bath time is over.

Thank you to every family who's shared photos and videos with us this month. Seeing your little ones having so much fun has genuinely made this our favourite box of the year.

Every single Push & Play Submarine starts life right here at home. Dad spends hours printing each part across three separate print plates, before we assemble, pack and send them off to families all over the UK.

Seeing your videos arrive in our VIP group this month has honestly made every late night worth it. Watching little ones refill them again and again, push them through the bath and squeal at the rainbow foam... that's exactly what we hoped they'd do. 🛁🌈

This has been our most popular box of the year so far, and we've welcomed more new subscribers this month than any other this year too. Thank you doesn't quite feel enough. 💜

Not sure who needs to hear this, but bath time absolutely counts as a summer holiday activity.

You do not need to leave the house for every bit of entertainment.

You do not need to become a holiday rep in your own home.

And you definitely do not need to feel guilty for turning the bath into 30 minutes of colour mixing, potion making, bubbles and peace.

If they’re happy, contained, playing, and somehow getting clean at the same time?

That’s not lazy parenting.

That’s elite-level strategy.

This is exactly why I love potion play so much. Mixing, pouring, fizzing, watching colours change… and all the mess stays in one washable place. Absolute dream.
