We’re back this summer with Caribbean Cruise 2026 — our rum tasting event on SUNDAY 7TH JUNE @ The Ettrick Bar! ()

We’ll be setting sail from The Ettrick Bar & stopping off at 4 different Caribbean islands, each showcasing a premium rum from that destination. Expect smooth, spiced & bold expressions — some familiar, some that might surprise you! 👀

As always, you’ll be guided through each pour — tasting neat, building a perfect serve & learning what actually makes each rum different. All paired with premium mixers from Double Dutch Drinks & LJ Tastings’ in-house dehydrated garnishes — exactly how they’re meant to be enjoyed.

🚨 FINAL TABLE! 🚨

With just a few weeks to go we are announcing that there is just 1 final table available for our “Botanical Journey” Gin tasting event @ The Ettrick Bar on Sunday 19th April!

The table can seat up to 3 tasters!

The event will highlight the core botanicals which make gin express in it’s various different ways and give some knowledge which will help you find more gins that suit your tastes!

🎬 Jumping on trend… 🎬

This time of year is the perfect time for reflection & this trend has came along at just the right moment for it… ☺️

“At some point in your life you’ll face a choice of doing the same as before or making a change — it’s very important you take the risk & make the change!”

5 years ago — after the lock down — I was returning to a place I’d worked for just shy of 11 years. A place I’d loved but had really exhausted the ability to grow.
But I returned with a very different mindset (of where I was, who I was & where I wanted to be).

So, without having a plan in place & nothing lined up ahead of me, I resigned & leapt into the unknown. 😅

5 years later — and over 1000(!!!!) tasters later… I couldn’t be more sold on the notion that it is SO IMPORTANT to take the risk & make the change!

Thank you to all involved in the last 5 years, here’s to the next 5! 🥂💜
