Forbidden Worlds Film Festival is dedicated to screening repertory fantasy, action, science-fiction and horror films from around the world and celebrating the people that made them. Forbidden Worlds Film Festival was created by a group of Bristol-based cinephiles in order to create a film festival dedicated to their mutual love of classic and obscure genre films and a desire to screen many of these films on the big screen.

It was great to catch up with Terry English at Fantasy Forest after he was unable to attend Forbidden Worlds this year due to personal circumstances.

As you’d expect, he bought loads of props from just a handful of the amazing movies he’s worked on from Aliens to Batman & Robin… and of course Excalibur.

There are so many wonderful Sam Neil performances from The Hunt for the Wilderpeople, Jurassic Park, The Piano, Event Horizon, Dead Calm, The Hunt for Red October and countless others... but there's something quintessentially 'Sam Neill' about The Dish.

Cinema Rediscovered returns this July for its 10th anniversary with 70+ events including screenings of newly restored films (incl. 17 UK premieres), rediscoveries and film-on-film rarities plus projection tours, cinema walks, improv workshops, a FREE interactive BFI National Archive exhibition, a quiz and lots more.
