As the one-year anniversary of the first lockdown approaches, and most cinemas across Europe are still closed, pleads to allow European moviegoers to get back in front of the big screen multiply.

Here’s two actions taking place this week:

's five-day demonstration is currently taking place online under the hashtag .
Cinéma Lux organizes free test screenings in order to gather feedback from the audience members and to demonstrate that safe movie-going can take place. This action is coordinated by L'ACID and GNCR Cinémas de Recherche.

🇧🇪
Several arthouse cinemas organize free screenings under the banner of StillStanding For Culture. Cinema Galeries screening, organized this weekend with strict sanitary measures, has already been sold out!
With them in action: Grignoux, Quai10, Grignoux, Cinéma Vendôme, Palace
