🥵 It’s officially melt-your-face-off weather…
But let’s take a moment to thank the Victorians, who clearly thought:
“Air conditioning? Nah, we’ll just build it properly.”
The result? The gloriously cool Cinema, accidentally beating modern tech by about 132 years 😄
So if you’re overheating, we’ve got the perfect survival plan:
A cracking film
A lovely ice cream
And something nicely chilled to sip
Who needs air con when you’ve got the Market Hall? 😉

🌟 A Positive Story from Our Community 🌟
We often share the challenges we face, but today we’re proud to highlight something truly heartening.
Alfie, Evan and Lucas who are all students at Brynmawr Foundation School, showed incredible maturity, kindness and quick thinking recently when they came across a gentleman outside the cinema who appeared to need help. Spotting him unconscious on a bench on the Market Square, they stayed calm, acted responsibly and called for an ambulance.
Thanks to their actions, the man quickly received the medical attention he needed and was safely taken to hospital.
What stood out most was the compassion and level-headedness shown by these three young gentlemen, a real credit to themselves and our community.
As a small thank you for doing the right thing, they’ve each been awarded free cinema vouchers.
👏 Well done, Alfie, Evan and Lucas, you should be very proud!
