From Flickerfest to the big screen! 🎬
Back in 2021, This Town Ain’t Big Enough For The Both Of Us by writer/ director D.C Fairhurst premiered at Flickerfest, where it won our Avid Editing Award and travelled the country on our National Tour.
Now, D.C Fairhurst’s short has become a feature film!
'Pickpockets', starring Tim Minchin and Zoe Terakes, hits select cinemas this November.

D.C said 'the response to ‘Pickpockets’ at Flickerfest played a big part in making the feature happen. After screenings, audiences kept asking what happened next to the characters, sparking the idea to take the story further'

At Flickerfest we love seeing where a great short film can lead, and we’re thrilled to see this alumni story make its way as a feature film to a cinema near you.
