FROM MELBOURNE TO THE WORLD 🇦🇺 🇬🇷 🎥
The Greek-Australian Film Society congratulates our Vice President, Nick Kozakis, on an extraordinary run of international success with his film Kick On Kick On Movie
Premiering in the Midnight Madness programme at the 2026 Toronto International Film Festival, Kick On has continued its festival journey with a screening at the 2026 Fantastic Film Festival.
Following the film’s TIFF premiere, Nick signed with Creative Artists Agency (CAA) — a significant milestone in his filmmaking career and an exciting moment for Australian independent cinema.
The film and its success have also attracted coverage across major industry publications, including Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, Deadline and The National Herald, alongside Greek-Australian media Neos Kosmos and The Greek Herald.
We’re equally proud to recognise the Greek-Australian talent contributing to the film, including cast members Markella Kavenagh and Nikita Chronis, alongside crew members Anthony Littlechild and Steph Economides.
This is what it looks like when Australian stories, creative ambition and exceptional talent reach an international audience.
At GAFS, we believe in preserving our cinematic heritage, supporting the people creating films today, and building opportunities for the next generation of Greek-Australian storytellers.
Nick’s achievement is a moment worth celebrating — for him, for everyone involved in Kick On, and for the broader community of Greek-Australian filmmakers.
Congratulations, Nick, and congratulations to the entire Kick On team.
Greek-Australian stories. Australian cinema. An international future.
