Cinema Nova was established in August 1992 as a collaboration between two landmark Australian independent cinemas – Natalie Miller's Longford Cinema in South Yarra and Barry Peak's Valhalla Cinema in Richmond and Westgarth, and opened as a twin theatre. It's fair to say this is Jane Schoenbrun's world, and we are just the happy campers.

In the lead up to the Melbourne Premiere of TEENAGE S*X AND DEATH AT CAMP MIASMA, we are taking it back to where it began with Schoenbrun’s debut feature, WE’RE ALL GOING TO THE WORLD’S FAIR.

Celebrating its 5-year anniversary, the psychological horror film about an online roleplaying game was an immediate hit out of Sundance, and cemented Schoenbrun as a director to watch.
