Meenina Hejje - ಮೀನಿನ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ Meenina Hejje is a short movie created by the Kannadigas at Melbourne with help of the Bangalore bas Watch this space for further information.

Meenina Hejje is the title for the short film being shot by 13 participants for the specially designed workshop organized by Prakasam from Bangalore. The team was trained by the specially chosen mentors, Sihi Kahi Chandru, Sundar, Krishna Hebbale, Sujay Shastry, PD Sathish Chandra, Chandan Shankar, Nikhil Parthasarathy & Shreehari Kashyap in various departments of performing arts. The team decided

that they would want to produce a movie as the product of the workshop. Chandan Shankaar worked on the storyline through series of sessions on screenplay, dialogue writing, story telling and other allied tools to arrive at a script for the movie. Nikhil Parthasarathy then spent time with the team to create a song and BGM for the movie. The rehearsals for the shoot, fine tuning, reworking on script and storyline, technical aspects of the movie, storyboard, direction tips were the last part of the workshop, mentored by PD Sathish Chandra. The shoot would be predominantly in Australia with special appearances from familiar faces from Kannada Film Industry.
