Ten Commandments. Ten Episodes. Ten Hours.

We're thrilled to present a rare screening of all ten episodes of Krzysztof Kieślowski’s epic masterpiece DEKALOG, one of the greatest cinematic achievements of the twentieth century.

A profound and thought-provoking anthology of ten stories screening in three parts, DEKALOG follows the residents of a late-Communist Poland housing complex and their subtly intertwining lives. Drawing inspiration from the Ten Commandments, each work grapples with timeless and existential truths about life, death, love, truth, and time.

Parts I-III: Thursday 3 September, 7pm

Parts VII-X: Thursday 17 September, 7pm

This is the story of a band that grew up but never grew apart. Jebediah exploded onto the Australian music scene in the 90s, becoming one of the country's most beloved bands. Rich with rare archival footage and intimate access, JEBEDIAH: ARE WE OK? is a warm, funny and deeply moving celebration of friendship, creativity and the enduring spirit of the 1990s.

Kicking off our 12-week season of the films of Krzysztof Kieślowski is his exemplary early film CAMERA BUFF. 🎥

Exploring themes like autonomy, censorship and voyeurism that would become career fixations, the film follows a humble factory worker, played by beloved Polish actor Jerzy Stuhr, whose newfound hobby – amateur film – becomes an obsession, and transforms his modest and formerly contented life.
