The Capri is an independent not-for-profit cinema run by a network of generous volunteers. Built in 1941, it is heritage listed and houses the Theatre Organ Society’s unique world class theatre pipe organ. The profit from every ticket you buy goes back in to the restoration of this iconic South Australian building and the WurliTzer organ. Why not come along for a bit of old world atmosphere and see the organ rise out of the stage and play in the evening session on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday evenings, 15 minutes before the scheduled screening time.

Few filmmakers command anticipation quite like Martin McDonagh. The Academy Award-winning writer-director behind In Bruges (2008), Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017) and The Banshees of Inisherin (2022) returns with his most ambitious film yet: a wickedly funny, sharply observed and thoroughly unpredictable new work set on Easter Island in the lead-up to the 1973 Chilean coup. Led by an extraordinary cast including John Malkovich, Sam Rockwell, Steve Buscemi, Parker Posey and Tom Waits, Wild Horse Nine combines McDonagh's trademark humour, moral complexity and razor-sharp dialogue with a sweeping international canvas.
