Quilters Workshop of Tampa Bay has an opening for our annual overnight retreat at Dayspring Episcopal Retreat Center in Parrish FL. It is February 19 - 23, 2026. This is for a private room. We have a two night minimum, but you can go up to 4 nights. We must know by Friday, 1/9/26. You can message us to indicate your interest and for prices. This includes your meals. We are a fun group.

Just a reminder, our next meeting is Tuesay, September 9, 2025. Our meeting location is Tampa Women's Club facility at 2901 Bayshore Blvd, Tampa, FL 33629. You enter the parking lot on Ysabella St. Social hour starts at 5:45 PM with the business meeting starting at 6:30.

At the September meeting, we'll be playing bingo during our social hour. We'll use buttons as markers, so if you have some you can share, please bring them. There'll also be some quilting items given to us for you to look through.

The meeting's program will be making meal tray warmers for Meals on Wheels. The guild will be sending a supply list and pattern. Please let us know if you have any Wrap and Zap or other microwave-safe batting to donate for this project.

We are having a Back to School Night! Please come “to school” prepared…in your backpack you should pack…1) A vintage school picture day photo to share…keep it secret…we will be using them in a guessing contest. 2) A Show and Tell -your FAVORITE sewing tool. Please be prepared to tell the group what it is and demonstrate how to use it. It would be helpful to know where we can get one! 3) Pictures will be taken at the meeting so come dressed to impress the teacher.

And ---- Get ready to score some incredible deals at our Back to School Sale happening right out of our storage unit! 🎉 Bring along your cash or check and dive into a treasure trove of amazing finds! We’ve got an array of beautiful fabrics and notions generously donated by the daughter of a talented quilter who sadly passed away.
