The march yesterday was reinvigorating and encouraging and was harder to ignore nationally than our neighbors here with whistles. But now rent is coming due for families who havent been able to work for weeks. So it’s back to fundraising - this money will go toward gofundmes/Venmo’s and directly to families who need it. It’s great we have national attention now - let’s use it. I don’t love fundraising, but time and time again it’s people stepping in when the govt “evaluates next steps.” Every dollar helps and we will be transparent with funds as always. If you’re watching from elsewhere - this is direct aid and just as helpful. We are good on the ground - we need support from the masses watching. There’s no shortage of places to donate - this is just one more to pick from. If you’re wondering where else to look follow as they’re constantly reposting fundraisers.

As teased in our June newsletter: this is a VERY BIG DEAL. The Librarians has been showing across the nation at various festivals and leaving audiences with a call to action to protect our free speech - Libraries forever!

Did you know you can support a good cause just by drinking some good beer? What a time to be alive.

Join us for some good beer and good company next Tuesday, December 3rd from 5-8pm at Severance Brewing. They will be graciously giving back $1 per pint purchased toward our fundraising effort of the Lifescape Wish Tree during this three hour window.

They’ve got good beer, good games, and we will be prepared with some door prizes and lots of entertainment industry chatter!

We wanna see you and chat with you since usually we’re just trying to show you movies in a basement.

Hope to see you there!

Thanks to everyone who came out for our November showcase yesterday. We had a great lineup and lots of butts in seats and even had a filmmaker in attendance who stayed for a Q&A! What a time. Thanks for making the trip ♥️

Slide 1) The Who and the What: We’re bringing our microfundraiser back again this year for - asking $2 that you probably won’t miss to pool together to buy as many tree wishes as possible. It’s magical dammit - get on board.

Slide 2) The Why: Lifescape provides a wide array of resources to people with disabilities. It’s a good organization and builds upon community which is the most important thing we have. Typically 40% of the tree wishes are fulfilled which means 60% of the wishers wont receive a gift for Christmas. That’s where we come in!

Slide 3) The How: send $2 or whatever inconsequential amount you have in your Venmo account to account shown and we will pool it together on December 12th and then go shopping at to buy as many wishes as possible.

THE GOAL: last year we raised $677 in two weeks. This year we are giving ourselves between now and December 12th to raise $1,000. There are so many causes and by donating just a couple three bucks you can really spread the love around between whatever causes are near and dear to you. ❤️
