Today is World Mental Health Day.

The American Legion Auxiliary Department of California encourages kindness, connection, and awareness as we support the mental well-being of veterans, military families, caregivers, members, and our communities.

A simple check-in, a listening ear, or a reminder that someone is not alone can make a meaningful difference. Today and every day, let us continue to care for one another.

For veterans in crisis, dial 988, then Press 1.

This week is Mental Illness Awareness Week.

The American Legion Auxiliary Department of California recognizes the importance of mental health awareness, compassion, and support for veterans, military families, caregivers, and communities.

Mental health challenges are not always visible, but support can make a difference. Let us continue to encourage understanding, reduce stigma, and remind others that no one has to face difficult days alone.

For veterans in crisis, dial 988, then Press 1.
