Malta Drive-In Theatre The Malta Drive-In Theatre has been in continuous operation since 1949! That’s over 75 years! The theatre is easily identified by its large flashing marquee.

Located at 2785 State Route 9 in Malta, 1 mile south of Northway exits 13S.

Paired with Toy Story 5 for a weekend full of Pixar nostalgia, childhood memories, and probably a few adults realizing just how ol… YOUNG - young they are. 😂

Aaaaand… MAYBE a certain friendly neighborhood Spider-Man will swing back onto the big screen? 🕷️👀

A little magic is headed our way with Practical Magic 2! ✨🌙

RESIDENT EVIL. SCARE ACTORS (Friday ONLY). AFTER DARK.
And yes… we’ll be OPENING nice and EARLYYYYY at 5:00PM. 😈

🪄 Harry’s getting ready for Hogwarts… and the kids are getting ready for school. 🎒✨

Somehow, it’s been 25 YEARS since Harry Potter first found out he was a wizard :-: yes, we (just me?!) feel ancient just typing that. 😂⚡️

So before the backpacks are packed, the alarms are set, and another school year begins… come squeeze in a little more summer magic with your MDI fam. 🫶🏻

🎬 Friday through Monday at the Malta Drive-In!

The nights are getting cooler, which means we have officially entered blanket-fort-in-the-car season. 🙌

Pile in the pillows and blankets, grab some great food from the snack bar, and spend one of the last weekends before school starts watching Harry’s first trip to Hogwarts under the stars and on the BIG screen. 🌙⚡️

As the kiddos prepare to head back to school, fall sports get into full swing, and we prepare to shift to our weekends-only fall schedule, we want you to know how much we appreciate your patronage and support this year. It’s been another fun year in the books, and we still have September and October weekends to enjoy before the season comes to an end!
