Dawn Lafreeda Catherine Gray and others involved in "Show Her The Money” see it as a movement. “We want to educate women, and we want to teach, and we want to get this in colleges, universities, even down to high schools,” Lafreeda said. “A lot of companies have reached out to us to show the film so that they can teach. … Every time we screen the movie, it just generates more and more.”

"Catherine Gray, the US-based executive producer of the documentary Show Her The Money will host the film’s New Zealand premiere at the conference. The documentary addresses how women are attracting less than 2 per cent of venture capital funding despite women-owned businesses growing at double the rate of those owned by men and generating higher returns on venture capital.

The conference will include panels and masterclasses to help founders grow their businesses, pitch themselves to funders and angel investors and how to take a business offshore."

Why looking for tall, fun and smart failed to result in the perfect match.

“Filmmaker Matthew Solomon’s feature doc about policing alternatives has become something of a phenomenon. He has been invited to screen by many groups around the country and every time he does, more local groups invite him back. It’s become an organic “hit” among thoughtful community organizers and progressive thought leaders. Next stop: Rider’s University, Trenton, NJ”

When I started my journey from the end of my marriage into co-parenting 6 years ago I felt lost, confused and alone. After finding some bits of clarity in the midst of the fear and shame, it dawned on me that co-parenting is a relationship, just as valid and real as marriage and dating. Armed with attachment theory science, my experience as a therapist and as a mediator, and my own emotional healing work, I started making some changes in how I interacted with my co-parent. I was amazed at how effective these changes were in shifting our co-parenting relationship from conflict to cooperation, even if it was only me making the changes. It was hard work, but I did it for my child, the most precious person to me.

People would ask me, “Your daughter is thriving, what’s your secret?" So, I decided to write it down and share it with you all. You too can create a cooperative co-parenting structure so that your kids can thrive in two homes. It’s not the divorce itself that hurts the kids, it’s HOW you divorce.

Cooperative Co-Parenting for Secure Kids: The Attachment Theory Guide to Raising Kids in Two Homes (New Harbinger) will be released January 2nd, 2024. Pre-Order your copy today! Link in bio.

Available now from Bookshop, Amazon, Barnes and Nobles or wherever you buy your books.

Let me know in the comments when you pre-order your book today. It means the world to me to know that we are on this journey together!! ❤️
