We’re teaming up with Keep Easy Cocktail Bar King's Corner Buckets Tavern & DrakeTavern for UNCAGED in Jenkintown: Nic Cage Cocktail Crawl! Hit the crawl on June 28th from 4:00–8:00 PM, then make your way to Hiway Theater for a screening of VAMPIRE’S KISS—the most Nic Cage movie ever committed to film. It’s a gloriously deranged descent into madness, vampires, and peak Cage energy. One wild night. Four great bars. Unlimited Cage. Tickets to the screening are available now at hiwaytheater.org/specials

VAMPIRE’S KISS is a gloriously unhinged horror-comedy in which a high-powered Manhattan literary agent becomes convinced he’s turning into a vampire after a bizarre romantic encounter. As his grip on reality slips, his behavior escalates from eccentric to utterly chaotic, producing some of Nicolas Cage’s most legendary and meme-worthy moments. Equal parts psychological breakdown, satire, and midnight-movie fever dream, the film is a wild ride that’s impossible to forget.

𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗲: Teenage brothers, Michael and Sam, move to a small coastal California town where they encounter a local biker gang — who also happen to be vampires. After Michael falls prey to this motley crew of bloodsuckers, it’s up to Sam and his geeky friends to save Michael before it’s too late. Considered a defining piece of ‘80s pop culture, THE LOST BOYS is a perfect blend of monstrous thrills and dark humor. Presented on 35mm.

Natasha Lyonne plays Megan, a typical all-American cheerleader who excels in school and is dating a football player. However, her lack of enthusiasm for kissing her boyfriend, interest in vegetarianism and Melissa Etheridge, and habit of staring at her fellow cheerleaders cause her parents to suspect their daughter may be a le***an. When Megan’s sent to a “conversion therapy” camp, she learns to embrace who she is with the help of love interest Graham (Clea DuVall). This biting satire skewering homophobia remains as relevant – and highly entertaining – as it was on its first release in the late ‘90s.

Sibling rivalry turns into a partnership when he learns his little brother is a part of Baby Corp, an underground spy collective of babies, whose current mission is to infiltrate Tim’s family in order to get intel on Puppy Co. where both of his parents work. It’s a boy! After having defeated eternal dream stalker Freddy Krueger, a pregnant Alice Johnson finds that he is invading the dreams of her unborn child in order to gain access to a new crop of victims. Star Robert Englund is at his most cartoonish in this final entry of The Dream Trilogy (films 3-5). Though initially panned for many years, the film has developed a new appreciation with its gothic and surreal dreamscapes, along with more mature themes of motherhood and trauma.
