Fargo AMVETS Post 7 and Auxiliary Eye Major Growth with Main Avenue Expansion

Fargo AMVETS Post 7, a local cornerstone for local veterans is looking toward a bigger and brighter future following the recent acquisition of a neighboring property. The 948-square-foot building, situated at 1002 Main Avenue, marks a significant milestone in the post’s ongoing expansion and community outreach efforts.

While the exact function of the newly acquired building remains under discussion, the strategic benefits of the purchase are already clear to post leadership. Robert Kozenskie, commander of Post 7, noted that the immediate advantages lie in much-needed logistics and enhanced visibility.

“The immediate compliment of the additional property comes in two factors,” Kozenskie said. “One being additional parking space for patrons, and two, the ability to access our club from Main Avenue.”
