White Creek is more than a beautiful feature at the Gardens - it’s a working example of nature-based flood mitigation.

Riparian vegetation helps slow and filter stormwater, while rock riffles stabilize the creek and reduce erosion during high-flow events. Together, these features help protect water quality, support wildlife habitat, and build resilience into our landscape.
