We had a fun night at the Afterlife Nightclub last night. It was a tribute band night with the fiat band performing a set of Docken songs and the second band play the best of Iron Maiden. I am attaching pictures and short videos.

Update: looks like I made the right call. We still don't know who will even play tribe games on TV this year. If it ends up being MLB network, I will have to find a way to publicly show the games because it does not appear they will be part of the Spectrum business sports and entertainment package. I sure hope the get this worked out because MLB is charging $99 for the season for home use. I wonder what a comercial package will cost. We will reopen with the Bernie Kosar meet and greet on April 17th. Then we will play the Cavs playoff games. Movies are yet to be determined

While the theater is closed there are some great events coming up next door at the Afterlife. We have partnered with Krackpot Comedy to bring Gary Michaels-Biker Comedy Hypnotist to the Afterlife Live Performance stage. Owner Update

Hello Friends of the Linda Theatre,

I have gotten lot’s of requests from our Linda Theatre community for more classic rock and dance bands next door at Cafe Rewind / Afterlife.

While the theatre is temporarily closes we are adding a last minute event next door for Valentine’s Day. So this Friday for Valentine’s Day, we have invited The Susan Marie Project to perform a night of danceable classic rock. I have attach a link a YouTube video from their performance here last year.

As a special incentive to get our Linda Ladies to come out and have fun listening and dancing to music from our generation, we are offering free admission. Just use the password “Linda Ladies” and you will be waved right in. Hope to see many of you on February 14th at the Cafe Rewind / Afterlife Performance club.

The Linda Theatre in Akron has been showing movies since 1948. They're being paused but only temporarily.
