It’s not uncommon to spot humpback whales alongside schools of dolphins — in this case, Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins — creating a truly unforgettable underwater encounter.

Several migratory shark species, including thresher sharks and hammerhead sharks, have received stronger international protection under the Convention on Migratory Species (CMS). Countries that are party to the agreement are now expected to introduce national protections against catching these species, marking a significant step forward for shark conservation.

Every conservation win gives these incredible ocean predators a better chance to thrive.
