#広島国際映画祭2025 でワールドプレミア上映決定！
亡き妻との最後の旅行先だった広島を再び訪れたヒョンス。
そこで出会ったユンジュもまた、広島に深い記憶を抱えていた。
過去と向き合いながら、それぞれの“愛の残灰”をたどる物語。
チョ・ソンギュ監督は『映画は映画だ』『TOKYO!』『自由が丘で』などを手がけ、
韓国映画界を牽引してきた実力派。
主演は、ドラマ『根の深い木～世宗大王の誓い～』や『聖なるアイドル』などで
繊細な演技を見せるペク・ソビン。
共演は『ユミの細胞たち』『愛のあとにくるもの』などで注目を集めるミラム。
上映後トークショーには、チョ・ソンギュ監督、ペク・ソビンさん、ミラムさんが登壇します。

🎬World Premiere of the Hiroshima-Shot Korean Film “The Ashes of Love”
Director CHO Sungkyu’s new film “The Ashes of Love (Ai no Zankai)” will have its world premiere at the Hiroshima International Film Festival 2025.
The film was shot on location in Hiroshima.
Hyun-su returns to Hiroshima, the place he last visited with his late wife, So-eun.
There, he meets Yoon-ju, who also carries deep memories connected to the city.
What begins as a chance encounter becomes a journey in which both characters confront their pasts, slowly awakening a truth that cannot be forgotten.
Past love, lost memories, and forgiveness—
set against the backdrop of Hiroshima, this is a quiet love story that reflects on emotional wounds and renewal.
Director CHO Sungkyu has been involved in the production and distribution of numerous films, including “Rough Cut”, “TOKYO!”, and “Hill of Freedom”, and is a leading figure in Korean cinema.
The film stars BAEK Seobin, known for his delicate acting in works such as “Tree With Deep Roots” and “The Heavenly Idol”, and MI-RAM, widely recognized for her expressive performances in “Yumi’s Cells” and “What Comes After Love”.
Following the screening, CHO Sungkyu, BAEK Seobin, and MI-RAM will appear for a talk session.
