Wylam community cinema is back on Saturday 17th October with 'The Ballad of Wallis Island' (2025). Doors open at 7:00, film starts at 7:30, £5, at Wylam Institute.
The Ballad of Wallis Island is a charming, funny, and bittersweet British comedy-drama. An eccentric lottery winner who lives alone on a remote island tries to make his fantasies come true by getting his favorite musicians to perform at his home.
All of our community cinema screenings are relaxed and we serve refreshments, w**e, and b**r from our licensed bar. For members of our community who are hard of hearing we show subtitles at every screening.
