Our Dementia Friendly Screening of Calamity Jane is Sunday 26 July at 11am
We warmly welcome individuals living with dementia, alongside their families, friends, and carers. To ensure a comfortable and stress-free experience for everyone, we make a few gentle adjustments to our standard screenings:
🍿Time to Socialise: Doors open a full hour before the film starts. Tickets are just £5 and include a free hot drink and biscuits, giving you plenty of time to chat, relax, and settle into the space before the movie begins.
🍿Relaxed Environment: The cinema lights will remain on a low level throughout the film, and the sound will be set to a lower, consistent volume.
🍿No Rushing: There are absolutely no trailers or adverts before the film starts.
🍿Mid-Film Break: We include a 15-minute interval halfway through the movie to stretch your legs or use the facilities.
🍿Freedom of Movement: Noise, movement, and singing along are completely natural and welcomed here—please feel free to express yourself!
🎟Free carer tickets are available for CEA Card holders. If you have any specific accessibility questions or require a headset for our induction loop, please reach out to our team.
