Saffron Screen Young Programmers is a group of 16-30 year-olds who love cinema.

We run film events at Saffron Screen, programming and marketing our own screenings, and sharing our love of film with as wide an audience as we can reach.

we know the perfect way for you to spend a rainy, dull Saturday: join us at Saffron Screen for their 2:30pm Q&A screening of Disney's Cruella!! Bring your young ones for some cinematic fun, and to hear from visual effects coordinator Lydia Bland about her work in the industry. One of our members will be asking the questions!!

have you had a proper gander at the programme yet? with free screenings, activities, food trucks, Q&As, an early preview of a new release, and lots of brilliant feature films, shorts & docs, the Rainbow Film Festival is gonna be simply unmissable! obviously we'll be there for our screening of BUT I'M A CHEERLEADER, but to be honest we'll probably be camped out at the cinema for the whole of the 2 weekends 😆🎥🍿🌈

for , we're giving a shout out to Olivia Wilde, director of the brilliant BOOKSMART, which we're showing again this Sunday @ 5pm. Primarily known for her acting, Wilde was a series regular on the TV series HOUSE, and subsequently she starred in films such as TRON: LEGACY, COWBOYS & ALIENS, DRINKING BUDDIES, HER, and A VIGILANTE, which she also produced. BOOKSMART marks her feature film directorial debut
