POSTER !!! - here's the design for our December screening of TOKYO GODFATHERS - by the incredible Michael Lomon 😍😍😍

This one is a real full circle moment for Porlock Press, for a couple of reasons ..

Over the last 8 years we have slowly been working our way through screening the films of Satoshi Kon.
In 2018 we showed Paprika & Perfect Blue, followed by Millennium Actress in 2022 - and now we finally get to complete the Kon set

For each screening we have been blessed with beautiful (imo) posters by Mike too
- so we're feeling very lucky to have him onboard again for this final piece of the puzzle

Last year Mike wrapped-up work on his epic Palace of Tears graphic novel project, which won the prestigious Caliburn Prize in 2023, and he is currently working on a new story called The Eye of Bale

Check out the rest of his work at Michael Lomon Comix and https://michaellomon.myportfolio.com/ - really superb stuff !

These guys will be going up around Nottingham early next month - so keep 'em peeled
