The Loft Movie Theatre

We had a great time at Mayhem Film Festival at the weekend - Nottingham's annual celebration of new and classic genre cinema... Between films, we managed to dash out and put up some Tremors posters.

A huge thank you to all the local businesses who let us use their shop windows, doorways and walls - we appreciate your support! 🖤

We're really looking forward to our Halloween team-up with Rob & Chris from Straight To Video and the 80s Video Shop for this screening of TREMORS at Savoy Nottingham! Expect an evening of edge-of-your-seat thrills, laughs and giant man-eating worms!

Finally, the biggest thank you to Dan - the man from Porlock Press - for collaborating with us on our 10th birthday screening.

A big thank you to everyone who’s booked their seats for Monday’s one-night special screening of Repo Man!

Screen 1 at the Savoy Nottingham is getting very full, so if you want to catch Alex Cox’s ’80s cult classic on the big screen, we recommend booking your seats now:

As we've mentioned before, this screening is very special for us, as it marks The Loft Movie Theatre’s 10th anniversary. A decade ago, we held our very first cinema event with our friend Dan at Porlock Press: a sold-out joint screening of Repo Man in Savoy’s Screen 4. We hope you’ll join us on Monday night to see Repo Man in all its glory on the big screen.
