As we welcome 1st July and the start of a new month filled with sunshine, holidays and family time, we’d like to take a moment to celebrate some truly incredible people… our amazing foster carers. 💙

Summer is often a time for making memories, trying new adventures and spending quality time together. Thanks to our dedicated foster carers, children and young people in care have the opportunity to enjoy those special moments in a safe, loving and supportive home.

Yesterday, our Business and Development Director attended the "Lifecycle of a Lease" seminar delivered by Harrison Drury Solicitors.

As a provider of supported accommodation, understanding the legal and practical aspects of property management is an important part of delivering safe, stable homes for the young people we support.

The session provided valuable insight into the journey of a lease from start to finish, helping us better understand our responsibilities and strengthen our knowledge as an organisation.

We're always looking for opportunities to learn, improve and ensure we're providing the highest standards across all areas of our service.

We wanted to say a huge congratulations to one of our young people, H, from our GM Supported Accommodation service, for winning a writing competition which will be getting published in a book that’s going into Stranger Sagas - and even more incredible, it’s going to be kept in the National Archives of the British Library forever!
