🎃 Happy Friday from everyone at CFS Care! 🎃

The weekend is nearly here, and we’re getting into the Halloween spirit across our homes! 👻🕸️

Our young people and staff are getting ready for some spooky fun, with Halloween decorations, creative activities and a little friendly competition!

🧙 Halloween Competition Update! 🎃

Our Halloween celebrations are underway, with young people across our services being encouraged to get involved in some fantastic activities.

From pumpkin decorating and spooky arts and crafts to creative costumes and Halloween-themed displays, we’re looking forward to seeing everyone’s imagination come to life!

🏆 There will also be prizes up for grabs as part of our internal Halloween competition, giving our young people the opportunity to showcase their creativity and teamwork.

At CFS Care, we believe activities like these are a brilliant way to bring everyone together, build confidence, encourage creativity and, most importantly, have fun!

🖤 BLACK HISTORY MONTH 2026 🖤
Celebrate • Discover • Create • Be Proud

Throughout October, CFS Care is proud to celebrate Black History Month — recognising Black history, culture, achievements and the incredible contributions Black people and communities have made across the UK and around the world.

This month, we’re encouraging our children and young people to learn, explore and get creative with our CFS Black History Month Challenge! 🎨📚

There are different activities for our 5–11, 12–15 and 16–18 age groups, giving everyone the opportunity to take part in their own way — from artwork and posters to music, videos, poetry, podcasts and exploring inspirational people from Black British history.

🌟 And there are prizes!
We’ll choose one winner from each age group, with a prize for each winner.

Most importantly, it’s about having fun, discovering something new and celebrating the histories, cultures and achievements that make our communities what they are today.

A brand-new month is here, bringing crisp autumn mornings, colourful leaves and plenty to look forward to! 🍁

Here at CFS Care, October is all about creating positive experiences, making memories and continuing to support our children and young people to grow, achieve and enjoy themselves. 💚

We’ve got lots happening this month, including autumn activities, our October coffee meets and, of course, some Halloween fun to finish the month! 🎃👻

Here’s to a brilliant October filled with positivity, laughter, new opportunities and plenty of autumn adventures. 🍂

🍂 AUTUMN BITS & BOBS – WE HAVE OUR WINNERS! 🏆🍁

What a brilliant weekend of autumn fun! 🍂

Our young people were challenged to collect or photograph five autumn-themed bits and bobs, getting creative with everything from colourful leaves and conkers to pinecones, acorns and pumpkins. 🎃🍁

We’re delighted to say that our winners have now been chosen! 🏆🎉

A huge CONGRATULATIONS to our winners, who will receive a £15 gift of their choice! 🎁👏

A massive well done to everyone who got involved. It’s fantastic to see our young people taking part, getting creative and enjoying activities together. ❤️

🍂 HAPPY FRIDAY FROM CFS CARE! 🍂

As we head into another autumn weekend, our homes have a fun activity planned for the children and young people we support. 🧡

This weekend, we’re running our Autumn Bits & Bobs Competition across our homes! 🍁

The young people are being encouraged to get out and about, enjoy the autumn surroundings and collect or photograph five autumn-themed items. They can then get creative by putting together their own little autumn display or sharing a photo of their five finds.

🍁 Leaves, conkers and acorns
🌲 Pinecones
🎃 Mini pumpkins
🌻 Autumn flowers
☕ Or anything orange, brown, golden and autumnal!

There’s also a prize for the winners up for grabs, arranged by their carers. 🎁

Activities like this are a simple but lovely way for our teams to spend time with the young people, encourage creativity, get everyone out into the fresh air and make our homes feel that little bit more seasonal. 🍂

Entries will be in by Sunday evening, with the winner announced on Monday. 🏆

We’re looking forward to seeing what our young people come up with!

EXCITING NEWS FROM CFS CARE!

We’re delighted to share that CFS Care has moved into our new office.

Our new home provides a modern, welcoming and professional space for CFS Care, CFS Education and Next Stage for Life, bringing our teams together in one central location. ❤️

The new office gives us fantastic facilities for meetings, training and collaborative working, while creating a welcoming environment for our staff, visitors and wider CFS community.

This move marks another exciting step forward for CFS as we continue to grow, develop and strengthen the services we provide to children, young people and families. 🌱

We’re looking forward to making lots of memories in our new home and welcoming everyone through the doors!
