Whether you knew him as Dr Frank N Furter, Pennywise, Rooster, Wadsworth, Darkness or any of the other roles he made his own, he was absolutely one of a kind.

On the 11th of September, you can enjoy possibly his most iconic role in The Rocky Horror Picture Show at the Pavilion.

As she challenges fashionable ideas and lends her voice to causes others are afraid to touch, she faces intense criticism and backlash. Alice will soon learn the price she must pay as an artist and as a woman for daring to speak her mind.

Award-winner Sandra Oh (Killing Eve) is the Misanthrope in Martin Crimp’s (Cyrano de Bergerac) cutting new version of Molière’s dark comedy, directed by National Theatre Director Indhu Rubasingham (The Father and the Assassin).

This National Theatre Live production screens at the Pavilion from 22nd - 27th September.

This biopic from the director of the thoroughly wonderful The Holdovers, does not so much chart his rise to fame as a world-renowned chef, but more focuses on his leaving behind the younger version of himself, he came to detest (and whose ambition was actually to be a writer), and becoming the man that the world came to love.

We have some new retellings of some old classics and a Jurassic adventure for you all this week at the Pavilion!

Starting off with Christopher Nolan's Odyssey - will Odysseus return home a hero or fall at the last hurdle on his journey from the Trojan wars? Find out from Tuesday to Thursday.

In the next instalment of our exciting season, we're joined by local author, Ghost walk Guide and founder of the Pevensey History Festival, Robert Slater, takes us through the gruesome chocolate cream killer, the onion pie murder and other cases from the local area in the Victorian era. All of them perpetrated by women.

We know this one is a while away, but we feel like it's important to draw your attention to this now, whilst we're living through the hottest summer on record, with over 23,359 ha (57,720 acres; 90.19 sq mi; 233.59 km2) being burnt by the recent wildfires, with 72 fires larger than 30 ha (74 acres) being recorded.

This is in addition to accidental fires caused by human error, such as the recent catastrophe in Stourbridge.

It’s time for an on-screen emergency briefing on the climate and nature crisis, introduced by the PM and delivered by independent experts, as the essential first step to unlock the wartime-scale response now required.

This new film, presented by national treasure, Chris Packham, is being screened in communities and workplaces across the UK to raise awareness and build public support for that government-led briefing.

Please join us on 14th November, when we will have a 14:30 screening, followed by a hosted ‘Discussion Session’ and an evening screening only of teh film.

It's vital that we prevent more of these incidents, and we believe we can only manage this collectively, so please do join us.
