The Duke of York's Picturehouse is the UK's oldest operating cinema, part of the Picturehouse family of cinemas. A Grade II listed building, it's the best cinema in Brighton, showing the greatest films from all over the world.

This Sunday 31st May we’re excited to be beginning the new Picturehouse Book Club in partnership with who will be hosting a pop-up at the cinema as part of the event!

The first book we’ll be digging into is Elizabeth Strout’s The Things We Never Say, and the author will appear in conversation with Francine Stock via live broadcast, to the comfort of your favourite Duke of York’s seat.

Tickets are now available including bundled with a copy of the book! 📖
