When you submit to Brighton Rocks, we pledge that your film will be reviewed by professionals with TLC. If your film embodies ou

r attitudes and aspirations and fits into one or more of our categories, we want to help you get the recognition it deserves!

One of the most important and cherished strands of BRIFF, our LGBTQ+ programme holds a special place in the festival.
As a festival based in Brighton (one of the UK’s most vibrant LGBTQ+ cities) we’re proud to champion q***r voices and stories on home turf.

Across two days of screenings, we’ll be celebrating powerful stories of identity, community, love, resilience, self expression, and lived experience through both narrative and documentary filmmaking.

From emerging voices to established filmmakers, these screenings showcase the breadth, creativity, and importance of LGBTQ+ storytelling. In a city that has long stood for inclusion, freedom of expression, and community, we’re incredibly proud to share these films with Brighton audiences.

We’re delighted to announce that Dylan Holloway will be joining us at BRIFF 2026 for a special screening and Q&A of Tomorrow’s Too Late, followed by a live performance at Daltons.⭐️🍋

It’s a real privilege to welcome Dylan to the festival and to celebrate a film that explores music, identity, and self discovery through such a powerful and personal lens.

It’s a real privilege to welcome Dylan to Brighton Rocks and to celebrate a film so deeply connected to music, identity, and self expression in a city that represents exactly that!!
