JURY PAMA 2026

Florent Lamy is the Co-Founder and CEO of ELEV8ON Management, a transatlantic talent management and production company with offices in Paris, London, New York and Miami.
He co-founded the agency with Daniel Blanc, President, based in New York.

Named Screen International Future agent Leader in 2016 and Variety Manager to Watch in 2019, Florent built ELEV8ON as the European counterpart to the U.S. management model.

Initially representing American talent exclusively for the European market across film, tv brand partnerships and festival activations, the agency is now expanding its structured approach to European talent navigating international careers.

The agency’s roster includes Megan Fox, Djimon Hounsou, Elsa Pataky, Keke Palmer, Madelaine Petsch, Holt McCallany, Clara McGregor and Lana Parrilla, among others.

Positioned as a bridge rather than a competitor to U.S. agencies, ELEV8ON has a very similar DNA to PAMA - giving access to markets and talent - with no territory boundaries.

Did you know the PAMA has a mentorship program?

The mentorship program by the Paris Movie Awards gives you direct access to Hollywood insiders and industry professionals who take the time to focus on you and your project.

This program pairs YOU, indie filmmaker, one-on-one with an established professional to discuss your film, your project, your financing plan, and the next steps to move it forward.

PAMA mentors include directors, producers, distributors, actors, consultants, and financiers.

The format is a private 30-minute session focused entirely on your work and your questions. No recordings and no audience, so the conversation stays direct, true, and useful to you and helps you face your current challenges.

Sessions are available in English or French.

Whether you are developing a film, preparing your next move, or trying to break through, this is a rare opportunity to get actionable and personal insight from people actively working in the industry.

Apply through FilmFreeway under the Mentorship category, you will then be contacted to schedule the mentorship session: you tell us what you are looking for and we pair you with the best mentor for your project.

GUEST SPEAKER, PAMA 2026

Daren Smith is the founder of Craftsman Films and Managing Partner of Producer Fund I, a $10M film fund focused on financing profitable, values based independent films outside the studio system.

On top of being a guest speaker this year at PAMA, Daren will:
🎙️receive a PAMA winer on the Truly Independent Podcast
📣 lead the industry panel: "Introducing Producer Fund I, a renewed approach to reconnect investors, the audience, and filmmakers. A conversation with Daren Smith, Craftsman Films".
Panel will take place Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at 6pm, Paris local time, in English and online.

Daren builds and finances what he defines as blockbuster indies, small, disciplined films designed for wide audiences, strong margins, and long term ownership. His approach prioritizes financial structure and repeatability over one off creative bets, positioning independent film as an investable asset class rather than speculative production.

With a background producing feature films, award winning television, and theatrical releases across the United States and international markets, he has shifted toward building a repeatable independent studio model that aligns creative ex*****on with investor grade discipline.

Craftsman Films operates as both a production company and strategic platform, working with investors seeking asymmetric upside, capital preservation, and cultural impact, alongside filmmakers aiming to build durable careers rather than isolated successes.

He also publishes essays and strategic insights on independent film finance and production systems, and is the author of BLOCKBUSTER, documenting his framework for scalable independent filmmaking through craftsmanfilms.co.

We’ve been asking real questions for the past 16 years.
Because every team member at PAMA is a filmmaker, we see the work that goes into your film.
That makes for genuine Q&A moments.
