TINECCUL, the Tinekoh Cooperative Microfinance institution, is set to launch a community sensitisation tour targeting Ngie communities in the Littoral and South Regions of Cameroon.

The initiative is aimed at bringing the institution closer to Ngie sons and daughters through direct, face-to-face engagements designed to educate community members about its services, financial opportunities, and the benefits of becoming members of the institution.

During the planned tour, TINECCUL representatives will meet Ngie citizens one-on-one, providing them with essential information on how the institution operates, the services it offers, and how they can take advantage of the opportunities available to support their financial well-being and economic development.

The campaign is also expected to strengthen relationships between the microfinance institution and Ngie communities, encouraging greater participation in formal financial services while promoting financial awareness and community empowerment.

By taking its message directly to the people, TINECCUL seeks to ensure that community members have a clearer understanding of the institution's services and how these may contribute to their personal businesses, savings plans, and other financial needs.

The tour will focus on engaging Ngie citizens where they live and work, creating opportunities for questions, discussions, and direct interaction with the institution's representatives.

A CALL FOR COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION

Ngie sons and daughters living across the Littoral and South Regions are encouraged to look forward to the sensitisation campaign and take advantage of the opportunity to learn more about TINECCUL's services.

Further details concerning the tour dates, venues, and participating communities are expected to guide interested residents on how to join the engagements.

WE FEEL CHEATED — BUT WHO SHOULD WE BLAME?

As schools reopen across parts of Cameroon, serious questions are being raised about the situation in Ngie Subdivision.

If schools in some other parts of the South West Region have opened their doors to pupils and students, while learners in Ngie are still waiting, who is responsible for the delay?

In this report, attention is turning to the Divisional Officer for Ngie, the Lord Mayor of Andek Council, and their respective teams. But before pointing fingers, we must ask: What exactly is within their authority, and what is beyond it?

Are they responsible for the delayed resumption?
Did they receive clear directives, and were those directives implemented?
What measures were taken to prepare schools in Ngie?
And most importantly, were parents and the public adequately informed about the reasons for the situation?

But there is another question that concerns all of us:

WHERE IS YOUR OWN POSITION IN THIS FIGHT?

Are we simply complaining after the fact, or are we demanding answers from the authorities responsible?

Should parents remain silent?
Should teachers and school administrators speak out?
What role should traditional authorities, community leaders, elected officials and the population play?

This is not simply about blaming individuals. It is about accountability.

Our children have a right to education, and the people of Ngie have a right to know what is happening.

So, who should take the blame—and what is your own position in this fight?
