25th Anniversary Trip continues..

Marrakesh to Essaouira.

We saw how they made Argon Oil, saw more camels, visited more markets in Essaouira, walked through the old Jewish Quarters, and even toured an old synagogue. Let's not forget a beautiful sunset on the beach across the street from our hotel.

Friday,Traveling from Ouarzazate to Marrakesh

We left the hotel and after a quick photo stop at Atlas Sudios, we made our way to Taourirt, a place several movies were shot at, including Jewel of the Nile. We visited an ancient ksar called Ait Benhaddou that's a UNESCO Site, also where many movies were made, indluding Gladiator. We then traveled through the Tiz-In-Tichka pass, where we traveled the highest part of the Atlas Mountains by road, and finally ended up in Marrakesh.

25th Anniversary Trip continues..

We left Fez, traveled through the Anti, Middle, and High Atlas Mountains, took some pictures with macaques (monkeys), visited Ifrane aka "Switzerland of Morocco", got to Erfoud and traveled to our tent hotel in the Sahara Desert.

Not long ago, I had the great privilege to participate in a Hockey Time Machine interview with Vintage Hockey Curator Bobby Burrell. That interview became a 2 part video series on the Hockey Time Machine YouTube Channel..

Today I unexpectedly met Bobby in St. Catharines at the local Sports Cards and Collectibles Show, just 2 tables down from where I was setup.

It just shows how small the Hockey community truly is, an online meeting leading to a meet and greet a short time later.

One more reason to love the hockey community and all of those involved with the Hockey Time Machine.
