Ever wonder why so many daredevils chose the Canadian side? 👀
Just look at all those rocks at the base of the American Falls! With a jagged pile of boulders waiting below, it’s no surprise thrill-seekers thought twice before taking the plunge here.
The American Falls stand between 70–110 feet tall—but that rocky landing makes all the difference. Meanwhile, the Canadian (Horseshoe) Falls drop a smoother 167 feet into deeper water below… making it the “preferred” route for those chasing history (and survival!).
Not that we recommend trying it 😉 But the view alone tells quite the story.
